We get that being a Mum can be all consuming and overwhelming no matter what age or stage your children are at. We also know that it feels like time goes too quickly and your tiny chubby little babies are suddenly lanky walking, talking independent little beings. It's then that you realise that you were the one taking all the photos but haven't been in any photos with them. (I know this all too well as I have been there with my own kids!) and we want you to know that we have a solution!

Tracy will be your main photographer for the day - With over 20 years of experience in the industry as well as being a Mum of 2 active boys, she understands kids of all ages as she photographs children every week!
Anastasia will be your black & white film photographer.
- She has been part of the Studio Eclectic for the past 10 years and has a beautiful creative eye to capture artistic portraits with her Medium Format camera.

- Talk to your kids about the photo session and the fun we will have with the 'big camera'
- Organise a reward/treat that they can look forward to after the session (that only comes out after we finish!)
- Bring a spare set of clothes for all in case there are any spills or accidents on the way
- Plan to arrive 5 mins before your scheduled time so we can start promptly
- Lastly if things don't go according to plan and kids end up a little crazy, we will continue with the session to the best of our ability and work with whatever comes our way as we know kids will be kids!
How to prepare
We will be shooting both colour and black and white film on the day on a white and dark background.
Please ensure you the clothing you select has complimentary colours and is free from busy patterns/text or logos as we want your portraits to focus on you.
Textures such as knits, ruffles, linen and denim always work well! Most importantly, your clothing will be secondary as the precious moments we will be capturing with you and your children will be all the more important
